The Hope Lodge provides housing and transportation to cancer patients. Volunteer opportunities include in-kind donations, providing meals to residents, and cleaning the facility. 

Avon Walk for Breast Cancer
Dates for the next Washington DC Avon Walk for breast Cancer are May 4-5, 2013. There are many different opportunities for volunteers - check out the website. 

Boys Hope Girls Hope
Boys Hope Girls Hope is an organization that provides at-risk youth with a stable home, positive parenting, high quality education, and the support needed to reach their full potential. There are potentially opportunities to get involved with tutoring and meal delivery. 


College Park Community Food Bank
The food bank services families in the local community. Food donations are accepted and volunteer opportunities are available to help sort food. 

Easter Seals Disability Services
The organization works to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work, and play in our community. Their community-based programs are designed to support and strengthen families, enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities, create stronger communities, and reduce system-wide health care costs. Multiple volunteer opportunities are available.
